2014 Hmong July 4th Event in St. Paul, Minnesota will be held on July 4 and 5, 2014


(SHB) – 2014 Hmong July 4th Event is on scheduled to be held on July 4 and 5, 2014 at Como Park in St. Paul, Minnesota by Lao Family Foundation of Minnesota.

Giatou Yang, Chair Event, said that there will be three stages at the Como Park this year: one stage is for the Center for Hmong Art (the same stage as prior years). This one will be showcased Hmong actors/actresses and singers. One stage (behind the pool) will be for dance competition and one stage will be for Miss Hmong Teen competition.

Admission is $5.00 per person.

“Due to the latest conflict in the Hmong community, this year we hired more polices and securities to ensure the safety for all attendants” Said Giatou Yang.
