SUAB HMONG NEWS — 2015 SEA Games held in Sacramento, CA from July 11 to 12, 2015. This SEA Games event held once a year in the Sacramento, CA area.

Chineng Vang, the youngest son of General Vang Pao, and the staff from the Mayor City of Sacramento open and cut the ribbon to open the event on July 11, 2015.

The 2015 Mr. and Miss Hmong Sea Games Pageant competition and the Singing competition cancelled for the 2015 SEA Game event. The only competition held at the event was the Hmong Traditional Dance beside the regular sports tournaments.

“There are seven dancer groups competing this year” said one of the Event Coordinator.

Hmong Dancer Group “Tub Ntxhais Yees Siv” won first place in the Hmong Traditional Dance competition followed by “Ntxhais Tshaj Yeej” for Second place and “Nkauj Hmoob Peev Xwm” for Third place.
