SUAB HMONG NEWS (11/07/2018) – Hmong politics are on the rising in Minnesota, California, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.    Many of the Hmong politics included new comers were among the 2018 general election on Tuesday November 6, 2018.

WON – Steve Ly, Mayor of Elk Grove
WON – Sheng Thao, Oakland City Council – District 4
LOST – Paula Yang, Fresno City Council – District 5

MINNESOTA:
WON – Samantha Vang, MN House District 40B
WON – Tou Xiong, MN House District 53A
WON – Fue Lee, MN House District 59A
WON – Kaohly Her, MN House District 64A
WON – Jay Xiong, MN House District 67B
WON – Adam Yang, MN Second Judicial District Court 11
WON – Paul Yang, MN Second Judicial District Court 20
WON – Kou Thao, Tracy City Council
LOST – Blong Yang, Hennepin County Commission District 2
