A flag and Declaration given to represent the Hmong


SUAB HMONG NEWS (10/04/2016) – A ceremony event held on August 13, 2016 by Willis Bird, Chairman and CEO for Thai Highlanders Foundation, at Ban Nam Soom, Chiang Mai, Thailand to give a flag and a Declaration to represent the Hmong.

Willis Bird said during the interview that Hmong is a group that has not yet declare their ideology to the World community and he hope the declaration (a flag and a declaration) will be the right direction to get the Hmong to move to the right direction to declare their ideology to the world community.

“It is time for the Hmong to have its own universal disposition that will drive Hmong to a higher critical thinking and to uniform the Hmong into a solid community…“said Willis Bird.

Nhia Vang said the flag and declaration are not mean to create a Hmong Country.  They are representation symbol for the Hmong only.

“I wanted to make clear that this flag is not mean to create a Hmong country.  It is a symbol to represent the Hmong only” said Nhia Vang.
