SUAB HMONG NEWS (06/30/2020) – Aden Thao (#55) took 12th place at MotoAmerica SuperBikes round 2 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on June 28, 2020.

There were issues on the motorcycle due to mapping copyright that his mechanic could not tune and adjusted during the race and Thao managed to finish the race on Sunday, June 28, 2020.
MotoAmerica round 3 will be held at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia in two week. Total of 6 more races after Road Atlanta to complete the MotoAmerica race in the United States.
Thao said during an interview with Suab Hmong News at RoadAmerica that the race didn’t go as he expected due to issues with the bike.
“It didn’t go as expected. Thought we could pull little better time today… ran a little better but ran into some issues with the motorcycle” said Thao.
Thao and his team are preparing to solve the issues on the bike for round 3 at Atlanta Road coming up in two weeks.
Thao is the first Hmong-American in the professional level of motorcycle racing with MotoAmerica in the United States.
