Among several questions, there are two questions highlighted here during Mr. Clune’s visit.

The first question is asked by ChuPheng Lee. Mr. Lee asks in regards to the difficulty that some Hmong-Americans are having problems entering into Laos to visit their cousins and relatives due to their names possibly being on the Lao People’s Democratic Republic blacklist. Mr. Clune seems to not be familiar or even recognize this specific issue. Mr. Clune offers that if anyone has issues entering into Laos, they should contact Mr. Clune.

The second question is asked by Dorothy Her on the issue of Hmong-Americans going to Laos and marrying a younger wife or husband. Mr. Clune responded that he recognizes the issue. He and his team are working closely with the Lao authority to filter issues, such as under age marriage to deny Visa to enter into the United States.
