Paul Schnell, Chief of Police for the city of Maplewood, said that the Police Department in Maplewood as well as other close by cities wanted to be the resource for the people.
“We wanted to be available for families who need some helps…especially when it gets in where is at crisis time… call us… many of our departments now have Hmong officers that are available to us” said Paul Schnell.
Tong Yer Vang, representing ChueFeng Vang family, said that there was a missed communication on the cleaning of the crime scenes directed by the Police Department to the family and he wanted the Hmong 18 Clan Council to look into it. Watch Tong Yer Vang speech to get the detail info.
Zong Leng Pha, President of Hmong 18CC of MN, said that he cannot confirm (at the time of Suab Hmong News interviewed him) if the cause that led to the killing involved Pang Xe Vang was having young girl friends in Laos.
“I am the president of Hmong 18 Clan Council here… and based on what I talked to them and the police, they did not indicated that was the case… so that maybe true and may not be true…” said Zong Leng Pha.
