SUAB HMONG NEWS (10/14/2015) — Hmong Family Foundation (HFF) held a press conference on October 13, 2015 to announce that the 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year Celebration is on scheduled as planned, which will be held on the Thanksgiving weekend as usual.

Hnu Yang, Chair for the 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year, said there are rumors that there may not be the 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year due to the latest conflict but there will be the 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year as planned.
“The 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year will be held on November 27, 28, and 29, 2015. The door will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Most importantly, I wanted to let our elders know that if your age is 70 and over, you will be going into the event free but you must have your ID with you. Children tall 37 inches or less will be admitted free as well. We will have the measure at the entry to measure your children” said Hnu Yang, Chair for the 2015-16 Minnesota Hmong New Year.
