SUAB HMONG NEWS (07/15/2018) – Hmong Houaphan Reunion will be held on April 27, 2018 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Hmong Houaphan are individuals who used to live in Houaphan province, Laos and now reside in the United States including their children and grandchildren.

Lee Pao Vang, Chair of the Hmong Houaphan Reunion, said the purpose of the reunion is to intend to bring everyone who used to live in Houaphan province, Laos including their children and grandchildren to gather and remember and to recognize the legacy leadership roles as well as the current roles in all levels of Hmong Houaphan. “Each year, many of our elders passed away and we are losing our history on who we are and where we came from so in this event, we will present the legacy leadership roles that form Hmong Houaphan as well as to recognize today’s individuals who success in business, higher education, and other leadership roles.
Lee Pao Vang said this event is the first one and maybe the last one. “The most important thing is for us to come together” said Lee Pao Vang.
