Hmong International Cultural Institute established in 1995. It is a non-profit organization located in Stockton, CA. Its purpose is to preserve Hmong Culture and Custom for the Hmong community.

SUAB HMONG NEWS (05/09/2017) – Hmong International Cultural Institute established in 1995.  It is a non-profit organization located in Stockton, CA.  Its purpose is to preserve Hmong Culture and Custom for the Hmong community.  “We wanted to preserve Hmong Culture and Custom because some of the Hmong Culture and Custom have been dropped due to confusions” said Seng Chee Meng Thao, Representative of Hmong International Cultural Institute (HICI).

HICI provides many services to the community including tutor service to help low income students who falls behind their school levels after school, teaching culture enrichment class to students about Hmong Culture and custom.

Due to short funding from local, state, and federal, HICI needs financial support from the community.

“If anyone still think that Hmong culture and custom are important for the Hmong community, I am calling for your financial support to help to keep the organization going” said Seng Chee Meng Thao.
