SUAB HMONG NEWS (04/27/2017) – Hmong supporters of Seng Xiong rally at the Federal Building in St. Paul, MN to call for justice for Seng Xiong. Seng Xiong is the head of Hmong Tebchaws and he was arrested by the United States on March 22, 2017 and was convicted in two counts, wire fraud and mail fraud, and he is waiting for sentencing.

Nao Long Vang, a representative for Hmong Tebchaws, said Seng Xiong is innocent and he was arrested because the twenty-two persons wrongly accused him to the US authority.
“We are here to call for justice for Seng Xiong and to call for the release of Seng Xiong” said Nao Long Vang.
Boua Yang Moua said the next court hearing will be on May 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
“Based on what we know, this will be the final court date to sentence him or to release him” said Boua Yang Moua.
The rally will continue on to Friday, April 28, 2017. The rally begins from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
