Hmong Veterans Exhibit is now a part of the Vietnam War Exhibit at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison, WI

SUAB HMONG NEWS (11/20/2015) — A project to insert a Hmong Veterans Exhibit into the Vietnam War Exhibit section inside the Wisconsin Veterans Museum is now completed.

An opening ceremony held on November 19, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison, Wisconsin to officially open the Hmong Veterans Exhibit to the public.

The project led by Wisconsin Senator Jerry Petrowski (29th District – Wisconsin) and a Hmong committee in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The Hmong Veterans exhibit has a piece of Lao certificate and a B40 gun (See photo above) display on the left side of the Vietnam War Exhibit section. There are touch screen TVs infront the Vietnam War Exhibit section for spectators to view the pre-recorded videos of some of the Hmong Veterans who served under the United States C.I.A. in Laos during the Vietnam War (See photo below).

(WI) Senator Petrowski said now the stories of the Hmong Veterans who served under the United States C.I.A. during the Vietnam War in Laos can be told to the public from generation to generation.
