Houa Lor, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend was laid to rest on December 17, 2012


Milwaukee, WI — Houa Lor’s body was opened to the public for two days and two nights in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to allow immediate family members, relatives, and friends from all over to say farewell to her. She was laid to rest on December 17, 2012. Houa Lor passed away on November 30, 2012 at 8:05 AM at the age of 96.

The Hmong Catholic Community at St. Michael Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin provided church services.

Distinguish guests included NengChue Vang (One of General Vang Pao’s son), Naotou Lor (President of Lao Veteran in Wisconsin), WaMeng Yang (President of Hmong 18 Clan Council), Captain Chao Xiong, Dr. Chava Lee(President of Lao-Hmong American Coalition), and many more came to pay their final respects for Houa Lor on December 15, 2012.
