Well… here are my thoughts to Fong Lee case…
IT IS A TURNING POINT FOR HMONG-AMERICAN TO REALIZE THAT DISCRIMINATION FROM WHITE TO MINORITY IS REAL… Shot Fong Lee not once but 8 times? How about Chai Vang, only one Hmong person in the wood tried to defend him self from being shot to dead, and maybe throw to the pond near by, surrounded by a group of white men, luckly he was out alive and now serve jail time for the rest of his life? This is not black and white any more… This is RACISM… RACISM… RACISM…
Last five years… I started to think about how life would be better in Laos… in Thailand… and elsewhere… At least there are loopholes for us to go through back in Laos.. Thailand…
After Bush Administration captured and accused former General Vang Pao and 11 other men for plotting to take over Laos, I felt that this country (USA) is no longer a safe place for us, Hmong, to live… it is the end of road… no where to turn… the only way ahead is the dead zone… here in the USA... the law is almost perfect to protect the people and everything else but the people who runs the law take advantage of it to gain powers and make name for them self… especially white group does to minority groups... It is time for Hmong start to ask the question “HMOOB TSIS HLUB HMOOB LEEJ TWG YUAV HLUB HMOOB?” “HMOOB TSIS PAB HMOOB LEEJ TWG YUAV PAB HMOOB?”
Make more sense as life progress each day… why black behave the way they are? Why other minority groups behave the ways they are? Hmong exists in the USA only less than 50 years… other minority groups exists in the USA more than 200 years… should be need to learn from other minority groups?
