Green Bay, WI --- Ashley Thao, a Hmong female singer in “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus Txaj”, from California was the main guest singing in “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus Txaj” to entertain the spectators at the 2012 Hmong Wisconsin State Festival in Green Bay, Wisconsin from July 28 to 29, 2012.

Ashley Thao likes “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus Txaj” at her younger age and she realized that “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus Txaj” is really a part of Hmong tradition that belongs to Hmong. She encourages Hmong girls to learn and sing “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus Txaj” because “Kwv Txhiaj” or “Lus txaj” will keep the Hmong language alive.
