United Hmong Council's New Year Celebration is moving to a new location in Fresno, CA

The event that has been held at the Fresno Regional Sports Complex south of downtown Fresno is moving to the Sunnyside Swap Meet at Clovis and Olive Avenues.Organizers say the location is more convenient for those attending.
New Year Chairman Dr. Christopher Vang said, "I think this is bigger compared to the other site and they have more space right here, so we like this place better than the other place."
The event was once held at the swap meet back in the 90's.
The Hmong International New Year celebration is held at the Fresno Fairgrounds.
