The Hmong Network for Development was establish by the hmong chiefs among hmong villages in Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son province is to gathering development the Hmong community in any way to be better. Thus any agendas from this stage will be the policy and practice for the Hmong village chiefs.
And after the latest meeting of the board at Lanna Human Resource Development Center at Sankampaeng District, Chiang Mai they have specified the date of Hmong New Year for 2008 on 9 January 2008.
Nowadays this network have divided into 3 groups:
The North Network (13 hmong villages)
The Middle Network (9 hmong villages)
The South Network (8 hmong villages)
And each networks will be specified the village to assemble and celebrate the hmong new year festival gathering. This year, the South Network will be assemble at Jae Hom village in Pai District, Mae Hong Son, the Middle Network at Mae-Sa-Nga village in Mae Jaem District, Chiang Mai and the North Network is unsure for now.
The hmong yew year of this year at Tak province will be start to provide on January 8th 2008 at BanRom Klao1 at the Kilometers 44, Maesod - Umpang Street.
This hmong new year is support the budget by the Province Administration Organization of Tak and the Sub-District Administration Organization of Sri-rad and Ruam Thai Patana, Pobpra District, Tak.
