Mee Kue, Miss Hmong Vietnam


SUAB HMONG NEWS (01/18/2016) – Mee Kue (Mim Kwm) won first prize contest “Miss Hmong” in Vietnam. She was invited to a Vietnamese TV program on January 17, 2016.

16 Hmong girls from many secondary schools, colleges and universities in Hanoi competed for the Miss Hmong in Vietnam.

Each of the contestant must demonstrate an understand the nation’s cultural traditions by introducing detailed costumes as well as answer questions about ethnic culture to win the competition.

This was a cultural event to promote the unique culture of the Hmong and to welcome the new year of 2016.
