SUAB HMONG E-NEWS (05/18/2016) – Hmong Dancer Group “Minnesota Angels” was the first Hmong Dancer group to perform at the Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. during the Lao “Hmong” Veterans of Minnesota delegation visited Washington D.C. from May 12 to 13, 2016.

Mai Ka Thao, the leader of the Minnesota Angels Dancer Group, said she was very happy and thank to Pa Mang Thao, President of Lao “Hmong” Veteran of Minnesota, to give the opportunity for her group to be a part of the delegation and to perform at the capitol for the Senators and to support the Veterans.
The dancer group went to Washington D.C. as part of the Lao “Hmong” Veterans of Minnesota delegation.
The dancer group performed inside the Senate “Hart” building for the Senators. They performed outside near the Capitol Hill. They performed at the Hmong Veterans Stone plate and the tree planted at Arlington National Cemetery. And they performed at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C.
“Minnesota Angel” is a Hmong Dancer Group from St. Paul, Minnesota. The current group is the third generation of the Minnesota Angels.
