Minnesota Memorial To Special Forces in Laos will be unveiling on June 11, 2016

SUAB HMONG NEWS (06/08/2016) – The construction crew and the Minnesota Memorial To Special Forces in Laos committee are getting the monuments and the plates for “Special Forces in Laos” ready to unveil on June 11, 2016.

The ceremony program will be starting from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Minnesota State Capitol Grounds, South of the Capitol Building Saint Paul, Minnesota.

“The MN Memorial To Special Forces In Laos will honor all the men and women who loyally served, in alliance with US Armed Forces, in the “Secret War” in Laos, from 1961 to 1975.  These Special Forces fought bravely to protect United States military personnel and, to uphold freedom and democracy, so we all can enjoy peace and prosperity in the United States of America.  The citizens of Minnesota, dedicate this memorial to the veterans, their families, and the citizens of Laos impacted by the war.”
