(SHB) — More than 100 people including Senator Foung Hawj and City Council Dai Thao attended the opening house for General Vang Pao Senior Care Center on March 23, 2014 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Sisouk Vang, one of General Vang Pao’s son, said that the General Vang Pao Senior Care Center, is one of General Vang Pao’s visions that he dedicated to Sisouk to complete.
Tou Xiong, Director for the GVP Senior Center, said that the programs in the GVP Senior Care Center are similar to other Senior Care facilities, for example, medical monitoring, exercise, health and nutrition, and field trips that will allow clients to travel within the state and out of state, like visiting the grave of General Vang Pao in California.
Senator Foung Hawj encourages Hmong businesses, such as Senior Care Centers, to work together to come up with needs so that he could help pass a bill for them.
