SUAB HMONG NEWS (04/25/2016) — Mai Zong Vue, Spoke person for the Vue family, held a press conference on April 24, 2016 during the Hmong traditional funeral service of Phia Vue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the killing of Phia Vue, Mao Kao Vue, and Jesus Manso-Perez.

“The Vue family is confident that this is a hate crime. We wanted justice and we will fight for it. This hate crime is also deeply impacted the Hmong communities in America. The Hmong communities and their leaders are concerns and they wanted justice” said Mai Zong Vue.
Dan Popp, 39-year-old white man, Milwaukee resident, has been charged with fatally shooting three neighbors, a Hmong couple and a Puerto Rican man. Jesus R. Manso-Pérez, 40; Phia Vue, 36; and Mai K. Vue, 32, were all pronounced dead at the scene on March 6, 2016 in the Southside of Milwaukee, WI.
