Phonsavan Asian Market
6300 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI
5:30pm
As we grapple with racial injustice and violence in our communities, we will gather to remember them. They were three hardworking community members dedicated to making a better life for their families. We invite everyone to come and join us!
At the Candlelight Memorial, participants will have an opportunity to share their memories and thoughts orally and in writing. For those who wish to write, there will be a memorial tree inside the food court for you to leave your memories of Phia, Mai Kao, and Jesus. For those who wish to speak, a sign-up sheet will be available. The program will include remarks by elected officials and community leaders. It will be conducted in Hmong and English.
