Public Forum MEJKOOB project

For years the Hmong 18 Council of Wisconsin has been working to legally recognize its mejkoobs’ power to officiate marriages. In a cultural Hmong wedding, the Mejkoobs play a critical role in guiding the newlyweds and ensuring their spiritual well-being as they begin their marriage. State Senator Jonathan Brostoff has agreed to support this cause. But we want to inform you and to hear your thoughts.
