SUAB HMONG NEWS (10/13/2015) — Senator Foung Hawj visited the Kansas City Hmong Community where he grew up with on September 26, 2015 to re-establish his 2016 campaign foundation to run for second term as Senator in the State of Minnesota.

Senator Foung Hawj said he really happy to come back and see everyone.

“This is the community I grew up with and it is the community I learned my leadership role from… Even though now I am in Minnesota, I won’t forget those that helped and supported me…” Said Senator Foung Hawj.

During the event the Kansas City Hmong Community held to welcome Senator Foung Hawj, he asked the audience if they would support him for the second term as a senator in the State of Minnesota and they responded “Yes”.

“Many people complement my works as Senator in the State of Minnesota in the past three years and I promised you that I will work harder to make everything even better than the past” said Senator Foung Hawj.
