Milwaukee, WI – The Community Service of the Year Award from the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce (HWCC) was presented to Suab Hmong Broadcasting and Richard Wanglue Vang, the founder of Suab Hmong Broadcasting, on May 1, 2014 at the HWCC’s 8th annual luncheon for their outstanding service to the Hmong community for the last 14 years.{sidebar id=1}

Among the presenters of the award included Tom Barret, Mayor City of Milwaukee, Reed Hall, Chief Executive Officer & Secretary Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, and other distinguished guests.

Richard Wanglue Vang, Founder of Suab Hmong Broadcasting said, “I dedicate this award to all the Suab Hmong Broadcasting volunteer staff. Without you all, Suab Hmong Broadcasting wouldn’t be where it is today… You all have done and continue to do a great job to get news and information from and to the Hmong community… Your volunteer work has and is continuing to educate the thousands of Hmong individuals around the world every day. I would like to especially thank Victor M. Vaj for his dedication and hard work to keep Suab Hmong Radio programs running for years and years… “
