Yia Michael Thao, Treasure for Hmong-Lao Memorial, is calling for financial support from the Hmong community to build a monument for Hmong-Lao Veterans in Minnesota.  For donation, visit www.hmonglaomemorial.org.

ChuePheng Lee, President of Lao Family Community of Minnesota, said that Hmong Freedom Celebration or best known as Hmong July 4th from 2012 and 2013 events generated income for Lao Family Community in Minnesota.  He continued said that part of the 2013-14 Minnesota Hmong New Year celebration programs will be using to promote Hmong entertainment.

Bao NengChue said the theme for the 2013 Hmong Women conference is “knowledge is power” or in Hmong “kev txhawb txuj paub ci txhawb yus muaj hwj chim”.

Dao Xiong said that the purpose of the 2013 Hmong Early Childhood summit conference was to assure for the parents to prepare their children before school start to make easy transition in school.

PaXeng Xiong said that his Hmong radio station broadcasts locally can be heard 50 miles with in the surrounding area.
