Thai authority arrested four Hmong for drug business

SUAB HMONG NEWS (02/22/2016) — On February 22, 2016, Thai authority received reports that there are drug supply coming from the Northern province of Kamphaeng Phet. This led the Thai authority to come up with plans to lure buyers arrest of Chatchai Yang, age 26, from Tamboon Tap Tao District Thueng, Chiang Rai province, Winai Vue age 24, from Tamboon Mae Pao District Phaya Meng Rai, Chiang Rai province, Virut {sidebar id=11}Rojounxathee age 33, from Tamboon Mae Pao District Phaya Meng Rai, Chiang Rai province, and Duang Deuan Vue, age 27, from Tamboon Mae Pao District Phaya Meng Rai, Chiang Rai province. The Thai authority seized of 21,600 amphetamines tablets.

Note.  Most Hmong live in Thailand changed their names to Thai names.

The Thai authority said the series of raids has expanded to stop drug brought from the northern part of Thailand.

The series of arrests has sent Thai authority spies lured into buying drugs from Chatchai Yang and Winai Vue, both traveled from Chiang Rai to a resort.   After both rented a room, Virut and Duang Deuan, husband and wife, delivered the drug to the room and the Thai authority arrested the four people in the room at the resort and charged them with selling drugs in Category 1 (methamphetamine) and possession of drug for distribution.
