The court decision favored the board of trustees of LFF on November 16, 2016. A court ordered has been issued for the board of trustees of LFF to resume their duty to hold and monitor the Minnesota Hmong New Year and Hmong July 4th event.
The board of trustees of LFF said they are moving forward to hold the 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year next week, November 25, 26, and 27, 2016.
The board of trustees of LFF restricted media questioning them on the outcome of the court case and the upcoming Minnesota Hmong New Year.
“We do not allowed any questions from the media at this time.
We will hold a press conference after the Minnesota Hmong New Year and we will allow questions from the media” said Peter Pha, Co-Chair of the board of trustees of LFF.
The board of directors of LFCMN and the event committee for the 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year and Hmong July 4th resigned their position to hold the Minnesota Hmong New Year and Hmong July 4th event due to the outcome of the court case.
