Thousands enjoyed the 2016 Hmong National Labor Day Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

SUAB HMONG NEWS (09/06/2016) – The 2016 Hmong National Labor Day held at the Winnebago Community County Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin from September 3 to 4, 2016.

Mee Yang, Chair Event, said based on the counts of the entry admission, there was a minimum of 10,000 spectators at the 2016 Hmong National Labor Day Festival for the two days.
Competitions included eight Miss Hmong teen competed in the Miss Hmong Wisconsin Teen Pageant, eleven singers competed in the singing competition, and nine Hmong dancer groups competed in the Traditional Dance competition.
Na Chia (Nag Tshia) Yang won and crowned the title of 2016-17 Miss Hmong Wisconsin Teen follow by  Xee (Ntxhi) Xiong crowned second place and Lisa Vang crowned third placed in the Miss Hmong Wisconsin Teen competition.
Chue Kong Moua won first place in the singing competition follow by Ta Pa Vang second place and Cha Khang third place.
Hmong Dancer Group Suab Nag won first place in the Traditional Dance competition follow by Nkauj Hmoob Hli Nra took second place and Nkauj Hmoob 18 Xeem took third place.
Sports competitions included Soccer, Volley Ball, Top Spin, Kato, and more.  Suab Hmong News did not have chance to cover the Sports competitions.  Contact Hmong Service Center to get the final report on who took first place, second place, and third place.
