Thousands of spectators at the 2017 Hmong International Freedom Festival

The 2017 Hmong International Freedom Festival or best known as Hmong J4 held at Como Park “McMurray Fields” from July 1st to 2nd, 2017.

SUAB HMONG NEWS (07/04/2017) – The 2017 Hmong International Freedom Festival or best known as Hmong J4 held at Como Park “McMurray Fields” from July 1st to 2nd, 2017.

Main attraction at the festival was mainly Soccer Tournament.

“We need more attractions at the event for everyone to enjoy. I do not like to watch soccer game and it’s boring for me after walking through the vendors” said a spectator wanted to stay anonymous.

“About 30,000 spectators on the first day and the second day is about more than 25,000 so total spectators for the two days is about 50,000 to 60,000” said Xiong Pao Moua, Chair of the 2017 Hmong International Freedom Festival.

Xiong Pao Moua said a limited of 150 Vendors allowed to sell their products at the event. “The reason to allow only 150 vendors is because less vendors will benefit more sells” said Moua.
