Nhia Ty (Thai) Vang, the Chair Event for the Lao Family Community, said that Song Vang, General Vang Pao’s wife, and other distinguish guests will be attending the event.  “There will be a soccer team coming from France. They are one of the best soccer teams in France to play at this year’s July 4th event,” said Nhia Ty Vang.

Tou Lee Lor, the Chair Event for the Lao Family Social Services, Inc., said that members of the Lao King family from France, including, General Vang Pao’s family will be attending the event.  Tou Lee Lor added that the officials at Dakota County Fair have a high respect for General Vang Pao, and they make the park available to Lao Family Social Services with a minimal cost.  This helps them to lower the door admission to $2.00 and increase the sport and other competition prizes. “This event is dedicated to our Hmong General Vang Pao..” said Tou Lee Lor.
