SUAB HMONG HISTORY (10/09/2016) – Mai Zong Vue is currently working at Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Vue is one of the first Hmong women who involvement included finding ways to help Hmong Refugees to become self-sufficiency in the State of Wisconsin during the 90s.

Maiv Zong Vue talked about the struggles she faced while she was young as the first Hmong generation resettled in the United States.
“Look back to the last 40 years, Hmong has changed a lot… the most changed included knowing the language, knowing the law, whatever we wanted, we work hard to get them” Said Mai Zong Vue.
Vue also mentioned the most Hmong success in the United States are the 1.5 Hmong generation.
