280 pounds of marijuana found during traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KETV) — Deputies made two arrests and seized about 280 pounds of marijuana Wednesday morning.
Authorities conducted a traffic stop after seeing a van driver commit multiple traffic violations, such as crossing the fog line and driving with a defective tail light.

The van was traveling on Interstate 80 near mile marker 395 around 10:30 a.m. when deputies stopped the driver and the passenger.
When officials pulled the van over, they smelled marijuana in the car and searched the van, locating the hundreds of pounds of marijuana and more than $60,000 hidden in the vehicle.
Deputies said the marijuana has an estimated street value of $900,000.
Tseng Yang, 54, and Mao Vang, 54, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
