Family members of John Nhiafong Lo (killed on March 27, 2017) speak out

SUAB HMONG NEWS (03/29/2017) – John Nhiafong Lo was stabbed to death at his home on March 27, 2017 at the 7500 block of West Carmen Ave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Milwaukee police is searching for a suspect and motive in Lo’s death.

Billy Tongkao Lo, older brother of John Nhiafong Lo, said John married his wife and moved to Milwaukee about a year ago.

“On Monday March 27 about 12 noon, John’s wife called my mother in Appleton and asked if John was with my mother because she could not find him.  My mother replied that John was not with her then about 2 or 3 minutes later, she called back and said John passed away” said Billy Tongkao Lo.

Nhia Thao Lo, an uncle to John Nhiafong Lo, is calling for the Hmong community leaders to support to get justice for John Nhiafong Lo.

There will be a funeral service held for John Nhiafong Lo on April 22, 2017 in Milwaukee at 6709 W. Capital Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53224.
