Fresno’s Hmong Music Festival Returns

(FRESNO, Calif.) The Hmong Music Festival (HMF) returns on May 23, 2015 at the Fresno Fairgrounds. This day long festival brings together Hmong musicians for one evening of entertainment, food, and culture. This year, the festival will include a fashion show, a gallery exhibition, a car show, food vendors, and more all at the Fresno Fairgrounds.{sidebar id=11}

The festival is produced by AZN Live, founded by two Fresno State alumni. The HMF team also comprises of several Fresno State graduates and local entrepreneurs in the valley who work in various sectors. They are passionate about music, event production and planning, and bringing together the community.

Previous Hmong music festivals has drawn over 4,500 attendees from all over California and out-of-state. This year’s lineup includes the highly anticipated return of Hmong band, the Sounders performing live together in over several years. The event will also bring the talented singer Maa Vue and so many more artists to perform. Special guest include dance sensation seen on TV, Aidan Xiong.

This year, HMF is also sponsored by primary supporter Table Mountain and includes media sponsors: KBIF 900 AM, Hmong TV Network, and Crossings TV from Sacramento. AZN Live seeks to eventually promote and produce high quality stage performances for the thriving Asian American communities. At this time AZN Live has been exclusively working in the Hmong community.

The Hmong Music Festival will be on Saturday May 23, 2015 from 2:00pm to 2:00am at the Fresno Fairgrounds. The show begins at 6:00pm and all ages are welcomed.
