Hmong Cultural Integration Conference June 3, 2017

The purpose of this survey is to collect feedback and get input from the Hmong community in Minnesota and in the United States about traditional Hmong funeral practices to study and find ways in response to the community’s request and concerns about public health, public safety and poverty. In addition to the survey, a conference is being held to give the community an opportunity to come together to share and discuss ways that will reduce the time and costs of funeral services and minimize the use of alcohol.

With your survey, we encourage you to attend our Hmong Cultural Integration Conference on June 3rd to hear our findings and to have an opportunity to contribute your ideas and knowledge to help identify ways to reduce financial burdens and hardships that is faced by families while they struggle with the loss of a loved one.
