National SGU Monument Dedication Ceremony held in Middletown, CT on October 13, 2018

SGU, Hmong and Lao Venterans, from all over the USA to join the National SGU Monument Deciation on October 13, 2018 in Middletown, CT.

SUAB HMONG NEWS (10/20/2018) – A National Special Guerilla Unit (SGU) Monument Dedication ceremony held in Middletown, CT on October 13, 2018.

A 2 Acre land has been dedicated in the city of Middletown, CT for the SGU group to setup a memorial site to keep SGU history.

SGU (included Hmong and Lao Veterans) from all over the United States gathering in Middletown, CT to celebrate and remember their services and those who lost their lives during the Secret war in Laos and elsewhere.

Bouatong Xiong, SGU, said there are three flags, American flag, POW flag, and Lao flag also a helicopter which flew to help the SGU operations in Laos has been officially set at the SGU memorial site to remember the service all the Hmong and Lao Veterans served during the Secret War in Laos.

Many officials from Connecticut joined the ceremony despite the rainy and wet of the day.
