Not only were the actors and actresses excited and thrilled to view their achievement tonight, but spectators who came to view the movie were also very proud and encouraging of the cast. Choua Her, who happened to not only be a spectator, but a brother and father to cast members in Opposite Blood, said that he came to support the film and cast members because it was a movie mainly written, directed and starred by Hmong individuals. He felt strongly that the Hmong community should continue to support events like this. “I want to say to the cast and to my brother and son to keep working hard, and we will continue to support you guys now and into the future.”
