Press Conference on the 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year Celebration

SUAB HMONG NEWS (09/23/2016) – Hmong Family Foundation of Minnesota held a Press Conference on the upcoming 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year Celebration which will be held during the Thanksgiving holiday 11/25 – 27/2016 at the St. Paul River Centre.

Admission fee is $8.00 per person.  No advance admission.
“Senior citizen age 65 and over must bring their ID to proof to get free admission.  We have  measure scales at the entry gates.  For children who’s height 36 inches or 3 feet and under will get free admission.  Height over 36 inches will have to pay the full admission fee of $8.00.  We will not allowed any sharp objects that can hurt other people and anyone wearing “CAP” hat, will be subjected to search and may not allow to get in… The hours of the event will be from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.” said Neng Zong Xiong, Admission Coordinator.
“We are accepting registrations for Dance competition, Singing competition, and Miss Hmong Pageant competition” said A Lis, Program Manager.
All doors will be closed at 10:00 p.m.  No admission and re-enter after 10:00 p.m.
OPEN BOOT SALE will be held on 09/24/2016 at Lao Family Community in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Nhia Bee Xiong, Chair for the 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year, invited everyone to be a part of the 2016-17 Minnesota Hmong New Year.
