Replacement of the Statue of General Vang Pao in Chico is ready to unveil


SUAB HMONG NEWS — The replacement of the Statue of General Vang Pao in Chico, California is ready to unveil to the public on September 12, 2015.

The new statue of General Vang Pao will be unveiled to the public from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at:
The City Plaza Downtown Chico

Chico, CA 95928

This event will be hosted by Butte County Hmong Association and Lao Veterans of Butte County Chapter.

Flowers are required by all individuals and community leaders when paying respects. Flower bouquet will be available for purchase at the event.

Each organization will have the opportunity to pay their respects. It is mandatory for all organization to bring a flower spray representing their organization when paying their reespects.

Festivities will continue at 6:00 PM until midnight at the Chico Masonic Family Center
