Results of Wisconsin Hmong Community Election for the President of Hmong 18 Council of Wisconsin


(SHB) – The General Election to elect the next president to lead the Hmong 18 Council of Wisconsin (Hmong18CWI) from 2015 to 2019 held on November 8, 2014 in 12 cities throughout the State of Wisconsin.

The results of the Election:
Blia Yao Lo           43%        589 Votes
Nao Vai Yang        34%        464 Votes
Xou Khang           23%        319 Votes

Blia Yao Lo won the Election and he will be leading the Hmong 18COWI from 2015 to 2019.

Blia Yao Lo’s Executive team are:
Blia Yao Lo, Presidient
Mao Khang, Vice President
Wang Meng Lee, Vice President
Junior Vue, Treaser
Chong Pheng Lee, Secretary
Xe Xiong, Assistant Secretary

“I would like to let everyone know that this organization has been here for the last 39 years and it is still not legalize as an organization in this country… our first step is to apply a Tax Exemption for this organization…” said Blia Yao Lo.
