ST. PAUL, MN (SHB) – An event will be held on March 7, 2015 at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, Minnesota to recognize and remembering the 40 years of Hmong resettling in the United Stated from Laos.

Level 1
Ongoing, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

• Ms. Hmong Minnesota Pageant Greeters
• Peb Puzzle created by artist Seexeng Lee, an installation with community participation
• What’s My Hmong Name? With author Susan Pha
• Survey Table Fill out a quick survey as you leave today, and enter to win an MNHS family membership

3M Auditorium – Performances with show hosts Mayder Lor and Tou Ger Bennett-Xiong

11:45 a.m.:

• Nkauj lab Nraug OO (dance)
• Qeej Troop (traditional music) presented by the Hmong Cultural Center
• Nkauj Hmoob (dance) presented by the Community School of Excellence

1:15 p.m.:

• Jackson Elementary School (skit and songs)
• GBFAB and BioFreaks (hip hop dance)
• Fresh Traditions (mini-fashion showcase) presented by Center for Hmong Arts and Talent

Level 2

• Art Activity: Make a Phiaj Xauv (Hmong silver neck ring and locket) with Txianeng Vang
• Art Activity: Make a Hmong coin bag with Ilene Her
